Four tracks of excellent indie-folk-electronica-roots-pop? Yes please.
The Ambersons are a five piece from the proud musical City of Manchester, and are currently working on their first album after the warm reception this, their debut EP, garnered from critics.
The BBC labelled them as potential ones to watch, and various other ears pricked up too, all over their home city. And it's not hard to see why.
This is well captured, well written, and well structured music from top to bottom. Drawing on many influences but a slave to none. The blend of genres (see above) ensures that each song stands out from the last, then stands out further on second listen. It's hard to describe, but check it out for yourself and you'll see what we mean.
