Solid pop from an up and coming artist with a background in roots and country? Yes please! Maria Jordan is a new female vocalist with an excellent attitude towards keeping her independent roots, choosing to work through her own label rather than working with a label for her singles and upcoming album.
Hers is an excellent, slick brand of country pop, with echoes of Taylor Swift whose star is stratospheric of late. With any luck, Maria Jordan will share in some of that success.
A great combination of acoustic guitars, a strong vocal and some decent songwriting, this single is a good progression from the more rock based precvious single 'Better Than Nothing' - we look forward to what comes next!
