This is absolute bloody rubbish. Plainly there are some people who will find this mess entertaining. I cannot understand why. This Franco-British mess had created themselves this persona around pot - pot you smoke and pot you drink tea in. This one, very lame joke, is apparently so amusing to these guys that they chuckle quietly to themselves about this solitary single gag all the way through the album. Apparently this all has some connection with the world of the little people (these guys were doing some serious drugs, believe me), and the result is this comic-farce world of constant wittering and ridiculous sounds. What is worse is the conceit of these guys who seem to think that this nonsense gives them the right to claim some sort of superiority because they are in on the secret and are graciously inviting you to join them.

It is all completely pointless. The extended solos and quasi classical movements are boring and bring nothing of any substance to the table. The lyrics, such as they are, are just mindless babble most of the time. Occasionally it moves into the world of ambient synthesiser music but at no point do you get the impression that anyone is in control. Come to that, you never get the impression anyone WANTS to be in control.

I bought this as a teenager many moons ago when someone said it was good and offered a different musical perspective. However, it is nothing more than a bunch of bombed out hippies fucking around as if they are the only ones who know the secret to same great in-joke and the joke is on us because we don't know it. I took it back to a second hand stores a long time ago. They wouldn't even give me 20p for it. That says it all.
