The musical magician known as GRiZ, released a brand new album September 4th. His clever title, MAD LIBERATION, is quite fitting for the album. Each track is packed with an incredibly powerful & funky energy. Prepare yourself. Your body will not be able to resist dancing, grooving, and moving, as the vibes are turbulently unleashed upon your eardrums. Glitch has been redefined by this electronic beast of a musician. The whole album can be described as a bold and relentless series of combinations. MAD LIBERATION emanates a sense of fearlessness, from the start of the album all the way through to the end. It is simultaneously overwhelming yet liberating. It rests at a mid-tempo this is slower than most electronic dance music that is ragingly popular right now, but the mid-tempo works quite well. The second track Smash the Funk is a roaring melodic combination of booty-droppin sax and snappy jazz drums. I would say its the easiest track to fall in love with right off the bat. GRiZ has an incredible imagination as Im sure you will agree after listening to this fantastic funky electro album.
