The BEST One-Man Band Since Dick Van Dyke in "Mary Poppins"!
New Jersey Pine Barrens performer Superdad!'s new track, "Rx," makes the medicine go down in the most delightful way, proving that you don't really need prescription drugs to feel better, only feel-good music.
On "Rx," as with all of his songs, Superdad! sings along to a catchy recorded electronic instrumental that he may have composed himself, or it may be stock music; I'm not sure. His seemingly earnest, deadpan, hostile delivery of typical politically charged/possibly ironic punk rock lyrics is unmatchable in its enthusiasm.
The track is fun enough on its own, but listening cannot compare to watching this man perform live. You have never seen a straighter face surrounded by faces of people cracking up.
Great tune, great message.
