Public Enemy jumps back on track with the soundtrack to Spike Lee's He Got Game. Not everyone enjoyed this outing by PE but for the most part they were people who had lost faith in the band after their last proper album. The title track on here is by far the most creative hip hop sampling I have heard in a long time. They take a killer sample loop of Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" and make an awesome hip hop track out of it. Some of the artists that appear on He Got Game are KRS One, Masta Killa, Stephen Stills (on the title track), and Professor Griff to make for a well rounded hip hop album. I will admit that not every track is top notch but for the most part it proves that Public Enemy is still a contender. I love listening to Chuck D anytime.
