Krs-One - The Sneak Attack
KRS-One has finally made the next move in his career after taking a much needed break. It was 1997 when he hit the hip hop world with I Got Next and now he is on his own label called Front Page and together with Koch Records he is out to literally launch an Sneak Attack. This album is for his fans who love his hard hitting style; the one where he never holds any punches. On “Hip Hop Knowledge KRS reminisces back to the day when hip hop wasn’t the money industry that it has ended up. He kicks what is almost a nursery rhyme called “False Pride which has no instrumentation and teaches the listener a lesson in false pride. It’s still early for The Sneak Attack but I would say that this is KRS-One’s finest moment yet. People that enjoyed his hard hitting drum and bass stuff will most definitely enjoy The Sneak Attack. The first single is the driving track “Hot. No one can say that KRS holds back any punches. It’s actually the contrary; he throws his whole body into each punch. He has come a long way since his days with Boogie Down Productions.
