Most would agree most popular artists out there have something truly special to give to their fans. This goes above the typical attributes like raw talent, amazing songs, nice voice, or even a very marketable look, sound and image. There's something truly infectious at the core of these artists that simply makes us feel good when we listen to them. Whatever "it" is - they all seem to have "it".

Today I listened to the latest CD from Southern California singer/songwriter Lea Marie - Undercover Lover - 2012. Marie possesses a striking look. Venturing to her website it is a very professional presentation indeed showing this is her second release. From start to finish this EP from Marie is very pleasurable. It has a very soothing Pop Rock, Dance-Rock quality to it. Any fans of any of these musical styles will enjoy this latest release from Lea Marie. It's clearly marketed for those who like a female fronted singer with a mystique of say a Wanessa, Rihanna, The Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilera. Lea Marie is armed with many impressive attributes - voice, look and persona. Favorite tracks include (Take Me For A Ride) and the title track. All pieces have amazing feel. Within each one of these compositions Marie finds her soul and delivers amazing vocal performances. The production touches, sampling strokes are spot on and just makes the whole EP even more enjoyable. The overall vibe is upbeat and positive. Marie also has a good voice. Marie is not afraid of baring her soul so to speak.

I see Marie as an undiscovered diamond in the rough. As time goes by she will no doubt refine and fine-tune his upcoming debut Full Length CD this Summer. I am eager to hear what his fully loaded release will sound like. In close most famous artists out there have "it" I'm not so sure what it but Lea Marie has whatever "it" may be.
