One of the more expressive love songs ever made, Tina Turner sings about a love thats so all consuming, it seems to be wasted on just one person. There is a story that Tina ripped her blouse off during recording while reaching for that intense scream. Maybe a myth, but it says enough about this song. Add to that Phil Spector's fantastic production and you have a song which is worthy of anyone's attention and high regard. This was probably the ultimate in terms of the Brill Building soul of the early to mid sixties and if Ike and Tina Turner never did anything again (which they did) then this would stand as a testament to them.
