The Showgoats step back a bit and strip away all the crap from today's radio friendly rock and provide you with a clean honest listen. Not surprisingly, they end up sounding like early REM. This is not a bad thing as there is need for honest rock these days as opposed to all the contrived crap you hear on the radio. Corporate Rock still sucks and if you want to find good music you have to start to turn to underground bands such as this. The harmonies are beautiful and the guitar melodies weave in and out leaving you with a great taste in your mouth. I see a very bright future for this band. I only have one complaint, the album cover. It's very amateurish and for a band this talented they need to present themselves with a little more flair. You can find the album on Amazon.
