Half Mad Moon comes off as an Uncle Tupelo album with two female vocalists. That comes as high praise coming from this UT fan. They're country even though they come from New York City but they have spent their time well biting into roots music. The style they do is a punk tinged country building on the term "Alternative Country". Amy and Deborah weave their voices into beautiful harmonies ranging from full on rockers to tear-jerkin' ballads. Watch this band in the near future!
