Another great Muddy Waters' song written for him by Willie Dixon. And another controversy. Everyone knows the tale of how Led Zeppelin stole the lyrics for "Whole Lotta Love" (but seem to forget how the Small Faces pulled a similar trick with the melody in 1965). Without condoning either, it should be noted that Dixon also used to copy earlier artists uncopyrighted works himself.
But anyway, by now Muddy Waters was reaching a much wider audience than in the fifties. His electric blues had crossed the Atlantic and was influencing a whole new generation of largely white British kids in large urban centres, especially London. Ironic that this music, then re-exported back to the States, became known as the British invasion. Listening to this original makes you realise, and reaffirms in your own mind, where it all came from.
