RecommendI heard a bit of RL Burnside before this album but I wouldn't say I was a fan. Come On In has made me see the light though. Tom Rothrock (Beck's producer) has peeled of the traditional Mississippi sound and has gone for a completely contemporary sound. He uses very minimal beats that don't take away anything from the overall sound, instead just adding to the wholesome sound. If you have never heard of RL Burnside start with this album and work backwards and you will appreciate the new style this old fellow brings to the blues. As soon as you hear a track you will buy this album.
