This song could be a couch potato's anthem. Out to work goes the girl while the man sits around and does nothing all day but live off her earnings. Immoral? Well she works down the factory not on the game so that is a charge you cannot level, but unethical certainly. Truth is, that when it came out there were a lot of old industries being shut down and men thrown out of work, while new jobs often employed women. So maybe, when you look at it, the Members had a political message behind it after all it was just too subtle for most to pick up. Sadly, this type of music was already on the way out by the end of the seventies. The Members never really adapted to the changing scene and this died a death.
