The last time I touched base with the Psychedelic Furs was in 1991 with the single "Until She Comes" . After this, the band and I drifted apart for good. Not all the blame for this lay with them. I was entering a musical hiatus and therefore generally lost interest in a lot of things musical generally. I liked this track because it reminded me of how good the Furs could be when they stopped pissing around trying to be pop stars. What happened to the band after this, I do not know. They split up, that much I do know, and Butler went on to a less than stellar solo career. But for me, I shall always remember the Furs as they were in 1981, not 1991.
