With the demise of Austin's much-loved Ugly Americans Bob Schneider decided to do this his own way. After releasing a couple albums on his own (and selling tons just in Austin) Universal scooped up the latest to release on a massive scale. One listen to the album will reassure you that it was the right thing. Bob is a masterful songwriter and with much experience under his belt his is able to craft a very diverse array of songs. Every song is different; the funky feel of "Bullets", the smooth truthful "Metal and Steel", the antiquity of "Blue Skies For Everyone". He titled his album Lonleyland wich is most likely a familiar place for him (as with a lot of songwriters), a good place to draw inspiration from. Be sure and check out his website. It's got some of the best Flash work I have seen. Not cutting edge, just creative.
