Although from Anthony drastically having an increased range and smoother voice, Chad having the most interesting percussionist working with him, and Flea writing songs for the album on the piano, Josh Klinghoffer does the best thing any guitarist could do tryig to fit John Frusciante's shoes. He follows Johns formula as close to the T as he possibly can. Melodically playing in the gaps that Flea and Chad's airtight rhythm section leave open. He chooses awkward, incredibly funky places to start and finish his riffs. Mirror Image of John. Of course the two guitarist do have their differences but they have both mastered the art of filling out the worlds tightest bassist/drummer combo and pushing forward the worlds most melodic sex rapper. Josh incorporates certain elements that John has never touched upon such as the guitar layering in (factory of faith) that comes out close to techno or house music, or like an entire bridge of solo vocals (Meet me at the Corner). I rate this album 10/10 stars just because Stadium Arcadium was 13/10 stars...
