I have never been a huge fan of Radiohead and never really understood the adulation they receive. No actually I do understand it - it is classic case of bandwagon jumping. Now I'm not knocking Radiohead for their abilities, that is beyond question, but I do find their work to be frequently art for art's sake. Yet, occasionally, they can pull out a damn good song. "Karma Police" is one such track, but my all-time favourite song from the band is "Creep". The arrangement of the guitars is perhaps the stand out feature, but the subject material of the song ideally suits Thom Yorke's voice which is not, in my opinion, strong at the best of times. Perhaps if Radiohead did more work like this, I would take a liking to them more. But then, if they did, they wouldn't be Radiohead, would they?
