There is no doubt that one of the reasons for the unlikely popularity of this track, and the commercial success it achieved as a result, was the fact that so many people could relate to the sentiments it expressed. We've all been there, at those parties in someone's flat where the music is shite and there are no girls you fancy who also fancy you and the booze is beginning to run out. Often there is some bloke throwing up in the sink and a girl crying in the corner while her mates tell her he's not worth it . Aah, fond memories.
