This is a new band for me and an instant respect goes out to them. Rumah Sakit fits right into the math rock category better than any bands who are currently there. Temporary Residence is quickly blowing me away with all the great stuff they have been putting out lately. The songs are very complex and you can instantly tell that the band has been well versed in different time signatures and some jazz training as well. Songs start off fairly quiet, for the most part, and then build to a cacophonous overwhelming wall of sound. I have a feeling that the track "Scott and Jeremiah" is a song cleverly disguised as a tribute to the album's producers, Jeremy deVine and Scott Campbell. All the musicians prove themselves with outstanding playing. I always think that bands that pull off having no vocalist are a great band indeed. They have to be to fill in the empty spaces.
