The Rosenbergs have just provided me with one of the catchiest power-pop albums I have ever heard! This killer group was signed to Robert Fripp’s revolutionary new label (he actually let’s the artists keep the rights to their own music! It’s so inspiring to see the copyright with your bands name on it) after a lengthy dispute with Farmclub.com. In it’s candy colored packaging, Mission: You goes down just like a sweet treat. After many repeated listens (I couldn’t help it) I came away realizing that a band could still write an amazing album from beginning to end without any filler. Not only does the band have complete rights to their music, they embrace the Napster sharing model. With the first 10,000 copies of Mission: You there will be a separate bonus copy dubbed “The Napster Copy that fans are encouraged to share with their friends. Buy one, get one free sort of deal. The Rosenbergs want their sunny happy power pop to be shared with as many people as possible.
