Initially, when I first heard this, I didn't know whether to love it or loathe it. It has such an uninspiring theme - getting drunk with the lads down the local bar on a summer afternoon and name dropping a load of corporations into the process. Was she paid to plug these firms or is it something she decided to do for her own amusement? (Come to that, was it even her, given that there is some doubt as to whether she wrote the song or not). In the end, the loathing subsided and I came to the conclusion I actually liked that song. Spending some time in the sort of American bar I envisaged her sitting in helped acclimatise me to the vision, and that lovely slide guitar is always worth coming back to listen to anew.
