This was one of Dylan's better singles and came at a time when he was well into his electric style change which so alienated the purist snobs who had hitherto made up pretty much the whole of his fan base. I've never been a great fan but when he put out a good one it was a good one. Sadly, this is let down by an awful B-Side. As far as I am concerned my owning of the single is now redundant as " Lay Lady Lay" has shown up as a track on the "Essential Bob Dylan" album I bought a couple of decades later.
