Goldie on Moonshine? Yup, but as far as I can tell, this contract is only for North America. The rest of the world will be seeing this on Trust The DJ. What can Goldie fans and Drum and Bass aficionados expect with Goldie's newest foray into the genre? Well, actually nothing much has changed in his world. Goldie.co.uk is an above standard album when it comes to DnB but it is not knocking down any barriers. It's almost as if Goldie is concentrating a bit more on his acting career than his music. Again, this is some of the best drum and bass on the market right now but it seems as if Goldie is not interested in pushing the boundaries on the genre. Goldie.co.uk does have a fairly diverse offering here taking pounding rhythms and soothing vocal tracks and mixing them together as if they were one. In the liner notes Goldie says that this album will leap out of your speakers and demand your immediate attention. It would if you haven't heard drum and bass before. This album provides a fairly good overview on what's happening in the DnB world right now. As for Goldie, he needs to be more concerned about the future rather than what is happening right now.
