This is a bit of a different signing for Victory Records. The Reunion Show is a full on power-pop act that really sticks it to some of the better pop bands out there. Kill Your Television kicks off with the powerful “Television� and the boys never really look back. It’s a great head nodding song that even has keyboards. Yup, a Victory band using a keyboard. Strange but true. The Reunion Show’s friends, Taking Back Sunday were the ones that alerted Victory label owner, Tony Brummel. Next thing they knew, The Reunion Show were set up with a record deal. As well as keyboards, the band sports dual vocals with very intricate harmonies. Kill Your Television is an album that will stick with you from the start or you will hate from the start. It’s not complicated music but man, is it fun. Try our “New Rock Revolution� on for size with its big ass chorus. That’s not the only song with instantly sing-able choruses. Get your kicks with “Star Training� where the subject is getting ready to be a rock star. If radio gets ahold of The Reunion Show then there will be no stopping this band. They have catchy songwriting that could take them all the way. Unfortunately they aren’t the only ones with this talent and it is just a case of who gets there first.
