What can I say about my own album? Let me start by saying This is lizzard's debut album 'Won't Give Up' is the result of thirteen years of literally never giving up. There is blood, sweat and tears in every track, and every track comes straight from the heart.

My partner in music and award-winning multi-instrumentalist Roland Stolk receives full credit for not only performing all instruments on every track of the album with flair and precision, but also for composing each song and recording, producing, mixing and mastering the entire album. His years of experience in a variety of musical genres, from jazz to pop, give the album an extremely diverse feel, with songs influenced by a scala of different genres.

Our combined experience, professionalism and all-round passion for music of all genres have resulted in a top-notch album that can hang with the best of them. Due to the diversity of the tracks, the music is impossible to categorize into a single genre. The common thread remains true - heartfelt lyrics and attention to detail in each song make for an album that can lull the listener into a dreamlike state, then deliver a wake-up call full of powerful, positive energy.
