The A-side was a shamelessly upbeat attempt to grab a slice of the feel good in the sun market. It was so obviously positioned as a release for the summer that it is hard to see why people didn't see it. It was most unlike Dire Straits, based on their record hitherto, to indulge in stunts such as this.
It was an energetic and cheerful song all the same, and had the distinctive Dire Straits feel about it. The B-side was much poorer in comparison. Mine has "If I Had You" and "Two Young Lovers", the latter of which was later to feature on the live "Alchemy" album.
