You know you have arrived in the UK when the advertising industry uses one of your songs as a car or mobile phone commercial. The Dandy Warhols therefore can be truly said to have arrived with " Bohemian Like You" off their, frankly, rather disappointing "Urban Bohemia" album. This is a true good mood song and, in true Dandy Warhols style, is built around a solid riff which the band flog to death until it drills itself so deep into your head that it cannot be extracted without resorting to a craniotomy. But even then, you will still hear yourself quietly singing
"Cause I like you
I like you
I like you
I like you
Woo hoo hoo"
And because it is such an upbeat, happy little number, there is nothing at all wrong with that!
