Another great hook line from the boys from Liverpool, this time they are singing about the B-29 Superfortress which dropped the first atom bomb on Hiroshima. After this, my second foray into the world of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, I never returned. They just became too poppy for my tastes. Andy McCluskey, singer and songwriter with the band, has recently gone on record as saying that the work he did with OMD pales into insignificance in comparison with the fact that he discovered and wrote the material for Atomic Kitten. Oh dear! That's nothing to brag about. I'd hang my head in shame if it had been me.
