The Rolling Stones, in later years, are not generally known for their slower, mournful ballads. Somehow, they just don't seem to do them as well as their rock numbers. There have, occasionally, been exceptions, and this track is definitely one such exception. "Fool To Cry" is a real tearjerker this one, but one which only the audacity and effrontery of Mick Jagger could truly pull off. It is definitely one of the better tracks from the Stones' slower numbers and it is not often that you hear that. Only "Angie" beats it amongst the Stones' catalogue from the seventies and later decades.
