It's definitely a great song. I really like their style, and the sax definitely set them apart. Names like Poly Styrene and Jak Airport don't hurt either :)

"Some people think little girls should be seen and not heard
But I say
Oh Bondage. Up Yours!
One-two-three-four"
With those words, X-Ray Spex burst onto the UK pop scene. Fronted by a shy, adolescent mixed race girl with braces on her teeth called Poly Styrene, X-Ray Spex were the antithesis of all other female fronted punk outfits. Not only did they refuse to cater for the leering male, but with a full-time sax player they were able to display a level of talent which was lacking in many of their contemporaries. And they were not shameless in delivering their message. Full of the energy and frenetic pace that characterised many early punk tracks, "Oh Bondage, Up Yours!" was intended to be a smack in the face to established UK pop norms. It was also a bloody good tune and left the BBC, which banned the song, with another case of severe egg-on-face as it climbed the charts.
