RecommendThis Alabama native knows how to write some catchy pop songs. He spent some of his younger years in a band with Ben Folds and you can tell some similarities in songwriting. He is a multi-instrumentalist as well. Somehow he also manage to hook up with Mutt Lange's wife Shania Twain and do a few duets with her. Weird! Anyway, the songs contained herein are amazing pop gems. Soft orchestral styles mixed with all out rockers ala Mathew Sweet. His love for classic rock comes through too. He once stated that an album should be done like Tom Sholz from the band Boston had the right idea. Play your heart out, record, and present it to the record company with a take it or leave it idea. Giant chose to take it.
