This album is apparently a compilation of the band's earlier material before being signed to a record label. At first listen, the album seems a bit sporadic. The musical styles seem to change a lot which makes this album very hard to categorize into one genre. However, the most dominant genres here are rock and hip-hop, mixed in with a dash of electro-pop and a pinch of metal. Definitely a very interesting concoction. After the second listen, the transitions of genre hopping seem very well thought and played out. At times, the stories included in each song will overlap into the next, giving you a bigger part of the picture to be revealed. Some tunes will be stuck in your head for days. There is definitely a little something for everyone here on this particular CD. A hidden gem to say the least. Definitely worth a listen.
Personal favorites on this album include, "The Static" and "Somethingz Wrong," which is a story of a man who believes himself to be going crazy, the feeling of hopelessness grows until the end of the song when the true meaning of his derealization is truthfully revealed. This song is a trip within itself.
