The cover of ACCIDENTAL TRIBEs DRAGGIN FLU, sets the mood well. Featuring Dino Sex, from the infamous GG Allin and the Murder Junkies on drums, this 4 song E.P. flows together to make a surprising experience. Opening with the power chords of Get Thru, and ending with the rhythmic Home Truths, this E.P. never lets up for a second. Crackling with an energy and breathless drive with whiplash guitars and spitfire rhythms. The DRAGGIN FLU E.P. derives its power not from nihilism and ennui but from optimism and passion. The implicit lyrics is a belief in hope over cynicism, and love over hate. For all its simplicity and everyman conviction, DRAGGIN FLU positively soars. Which in the end, is exactly what a great punk record should be.
