A rather unnerving song about one man's obsession with his best friend's girl - the Cars did the same sort of thing with "My Best Friend's Girl" a few years earlier. This is in many ways standard MTV rock fayre, the sort of thing which the eighties was rather notable and, if that was all the eighties was about, rather forgettable for. What rescues this from the anonymous morass of the rest is a pretty good guitar solo in the middle. I have always been a sucker for good guitar work and this one reeled me in, hook, line and sinker.
