Black Eyed Peas are one of the hip hop bands that plan on making the genre accessible and fun again. They aren't going to let up until every house has beats being blasted from the stereo. The way these three talented men do it is by putting all their heart and soul into their music. Not just metaphoricly but literally too. Bridging The Gap is the groups 2nd album in as many years and in that time they have established a huge broad fanbase. Not only do they apeal to hip hop fans but they also edge in the punk and alternative scene as well. This album does just what the title says; it bridges all the gaps hip hop has previously had. They don't have a weak track on the album. It may help that they have artists like De La Soul , Les Nubians, Mos Def, Wyclef, and Macy Gray lending a had but even without them this would still be a strong album. With groups like this and Jurassic 5 it will only be a matter of time before the masses are listening to the beats again.
