The single which got Bowie into a lot of trouble with the prudish blue rinses who think they have the right to tell everyone else in the UK what to do. As if Bowie prancing around in skin tight costumes looking every inch the modern woman and clearly out of his mind on drugs wasn't bad enough, he's gay as well! I mean, here he is in this song telling his long-time companion, John, not to worry because he's only dancing with this hunky new guy and is not about to rub uglies with him.
Perhaps this is why the single, when it was released in late 1972 was so difficult to get hold of. The track is an off-cut from the Ziggy sessions and in my view is a lot better than some of the tracks which were included on the album. Perhaps it didn't fit in with the album's theme because I can't think of any other sound reason why it should have been left off.
