Among the succession of album tracks Big Country issued on twelve inch vinyl in extended and remixed form around the releases of their first two albums is this, frequently overlooked, little gem. "Wonderland" is a light and airy track which has a much more acoustic feel to it. The guitars are lighter and the drummer's touch has definitely softened. You will not find this on any of their original albums (though it cropped up later on some reissues). This twelve inch vinyl contains both the regular and extra-super strength variety of the song backed with another track hitherto unavailable on disk, "Giant". Nobody was able to do this sort of remastering better than Big Country, even when they did it with tracks which didn't feature on any of their contemporary albums.
