HGWT was started as a solo project by frontman Matt Burke, who recruited brother Danny (bass), J.P. Beaubien (drums), Joshua Hernandez (viola) and Scott Anderson (guitar) to round out the band. Their inviting alt-folksy sound has earned them plenty of fans within the Tampa Bay music scene and world wide through the internet. Check these guys out and if you're like me, will find that down home style of music that has been missing in main stream music today. Keep up the hard work boys, and share your talents with the rest of the country... see yall up here in the Pacific NW sometime!
