Mondii - t:p
Holy cow Batman - talk about experimental music. There is hardly a sound on this album that one might recognize. Mondii use very extreme bleeps and blips in order to come up with their instrumental array of sounds. It works for the most part as very enjoyable background music but at times it ends up getting on your nerves, although rarely. I think only twice for the whole album I had to turn my attention directly towards the recording. In actual fact, this one man band, Nao Sugimoto, is quite appealing and anyone interested in the so called "post-rock" world would most likely enjoy what Mondii has to offer.
