RecommendAzam Ali is an amazing vocalist and the heart and soul behind Vas. For their third album they turn to a hauntingly serene sound that evokes etheral images of past lives. Azam sings in a Middle Eastern / Indian style that reminds me of Lisa Gerrard and her work with Dead Can Dance. It even looks like a Dead Can Dance cover. Greg Ellis' percussion is a perfect match for the beauty of Azam's wonderful vocals.
