Most would agree most popular artists out there have something truly special to give to their fans. This goes above the typical attributes like raw talent, amazing songs, nice voice, or even a very marketable look, sound & image. Theres something truly infectious at the core of these artists that simply makes us feel good when we listen to them. Whatever it is - they all seem to have it.

Today I spun to the latest CD from Washington DCs own The Love Load entitled The Human Resourceful. Venturing to their website & reading the bio: I get the impression he is one band that is extremely passionate about his songwriting craft. From start to finish this CD from TLL presents a very evil genius type of mystique. Almost like a modern day David Bowie with a much harder edge. It has an Alternative Rock-Punk like quality to it but should not to be underestimated or easily pinned down. It dabbles in what I would call dark rock but without the over the top hard rock edge. Trust me when I say this band is a bit scarier than Marylyn Manson. Any fans of any of these musical styles will enjoy this latest release from Ian. Its clearly marketed for those who like a male singer with a mystique of say a Thom Yorke, or even Trent Reznor. I get the impression Ted Watts and company are rolling with what they know as performers in all these songs. In other words they hit the mark remarkably well by just being who they are. Favorite track is (Candy Dish). All songs possess amazing feel & the songwriting digs a bit deeper than the typical Independent Artist. Within each one of these songs Watts finds his soul & delivers his best musical mojo. TLL is clearly a force to be reckoned with as writers & performers.

In close The Human Resourceful by the Love Load is a fascinating statement. Like I said most famous artists out there have it Im not so sure what it but The Love Load have whatever it may be.
