Mumford & Sons debut album was fantastically written and organized. The thing with this band is that it doesn't end after the album. If you take the time to watch their Gentlemen of the Road documentary, you will see they're all incredibly cordial musicians-a plus in today's modern music industry! They were the first to tell themselves that it would never work.

Now, this is not any kind of challenging to play music, but it's very simple, and open about the simplicity of life. Just because something is simple does not take away from it's potential to be good and/or great.

This is an outstanding album in the fact that everyone in the band is a multi-instrumentalist, and you can definitely feel that from comparing the songs like Winter Winds where the lead instrument is a Mandolin & then Dustbowl Dance, where Marcus Mumford (the singer) switches over to drums and continues to sing simultaenously (which isn't a very east feat).

This album is capable of evoking different emotions from every song, they capture moods, feeling, and passion all very well within their writing. It's nice to hear what they play because you can tell they all play it as a BAND, it is describing a way of life for them if you ask me.

To me it hits a little home because of my experiences in life, and I can say that it should-they talk about life, and so I think a lot of people will be able to relate to the music on Sigh No More.

To sum it up and end my rampant babbling, fantastic album with a few hooks, and other songs that you may get addicted on for a day or so. Musicianship is great between the band and how well they gel together in their own writing process. Finally, all of the band is so nice, even if this WASN'T that great of an album, you cannot deny them a chance for who they are as they're just honest musicians, enjoying life, and writing music that can hopefully bring joy to others.

If you haven't heard this album yet, which seems kind of hard to believe as its getting a lot of plays around my parts, you should check it out. I like "Little Lion Man" and "Dustbowl Dance". Probably deserves a better review, hopefully you reviewers out there can deliver.
