RecommendDave Alvin is known not only for his songwriting abilities but also for injecting the rock into rockabilly with his band the Blasters. He has also produced his share of fine albums. Blackjack David may be his 6th solo album but could be his best yet. He has matured into a fantastic witty songwriter able to write all styles. He could be considered Country, Pop, Blues or even Folk. He is so diverse that he is hard to pinpoint.
