For Taylor Swift fans, there seems to be great division here. The music of "Fearless" is hardly what one would call true country, but it does have some influences and a sound that attains to its origins (for example, banjos playing in the background of "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me"). Taylor's voice occasionally has a feel that hits close to the country home, and yet never quite makes you think she's a country gal. Nevertheless, her voice is unique in sound and has a certain charm to it. There are a couple of songs here that overpower her voice with guitar and other enhancements, such as "The Way I Loved You" and "Forever and Always," which is really a shame, since her voice has a tendency to be quiet. Overall I recommend this CD to anyone that likes the new country wave or pop lovers, since it appeals to both.
Finally (in my opinion), the top 5 songs to buy as singles: "The Best Day," "White Horse," "Fifteen," "You Belong With Me," and "Love Story."

Debuting with her hit single "Tim McGraw", followed by her singles of "Teardrops on My Guitar", "Picture to Burn", and "Our Song", her fame rose with her self-titled debut album. However, Taylor Swift was not finished and came out with "Fearless" in 2008. The album quickly rose and became the best-selling album of the year. It's not exactly a surprise as songs like "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me" rose high into the charts, both holding number 1 for quite some time. "You Belong With Me" also won Taylor Swift a VMA award for best female music video. Moreover, hit singles like "White Horse", "Fifteen", and "Fearless" boosted the album to have a long stay in the charts. Not only that, but "Fearless" contained many more great songs that appealed to all her fans and more.
