RecommendThe title of this album says it all. Power Pop. Not the cleanest pop I have ever heard but I think that is the charm of MegaSuperUltra. The take older influences like the Jam and Elvis Costello and bring around a freshness to it. The songs themselves are very well written in classic power pop fashion with stops and starts and tempo changes all over. Indeed if you are tired of serious rock and need some light relief with some songs you just hum along with try this one out.
