The Living End is back! After a few years off, Australia's multiplatinum artists have returned with a radio friendly album on Reprise ready to take on North America. They keep a bit of a rockabilly sound underneath their sound but in the end the contrive a masterfull blend of rock and punk. These guys are actually doing things their own way despite being on major label. They mix up rockabilly and punk with rock and even a bit of ska influences and dub style to come up with a fresh sound. It's no wonder Reprise couldn't stay away. They have also been invited to play on the infamous Warped Tour. Australia hasn't rock this hard for a long time, if ever. Experience the band with their new album and be sure to see them live if they come to your town.

These guys are a killer band. They deliver their rock/punk sound in an authentic way, without conforming to either genre too much.
This album actually is their best, withoubt doubt.
I have seen these guys live twice- and they are awesome...very tight, and very energetic at the same time. Being an Australian myself, I would like to see these guys get a bit more support from overseas.....I think they have had a rough deal in this respect, and are far greater than bands (of a similar nature) with way bigger profiles
