RecommendLeave it to John Linnel, one half of They Might Be Giants, to unite the States with this fun collection of State Songs. Only time will tell if the states in question will adopt Linnel's songs as anthems or just laugh at them. Some songs hold some meritt as they go into some sort of history of the state where as Pennsylvania is just "La La La Pennsylvania". This serves as a start to Linnel's ongoing endeavour of doing a song for each state. This album only covers 15. If you enjoy TMBG then be sure to check out this gem (no novelty here), if for nothing more than a geography lesson.
