The phrase 'indica dove sei' can be loosely translated into English as 'where you are', or more literally, 'a sign of where you are'. I can only assume Vorenzo intended this to be especially poignant now, more like a 'look, here's a gigantic arrow pointing to where you (we) are'. At the very least, I can safely say it's a huge departure from their previous offering - a light album of hope and love and rainbows.

Although this might put a good few people off, and I can see why, it's not all unicorns and fluffy bunnies. Obviously, a lot's changed from the depressive and opressive 'Intention And The Adequacy Of Delusion', but Vorenzo still have the same depth of field as they had before. This new album is still lyrically clever and mostly musically sound but there's more here to relax to, i.e. it doesn't leave you wanting to slit your wrists. It's even hooky... hmm. This really is very, very virgin territory for these guys.

As with most bands exploring something new, they don't get it right all the time - I get the feeling with tracks like 'All Right Now' that they're all in a bit of a happy-hippy trance, too much so to use their creative talents to the full. It's a very chordal song, a tad boring, but it does suit the mood.

It's such a huge U-turn it's a little hard to grasp. I'd advise all fans to give it a go, but be warned, it'll make or break you.

I don't usually comment or review music, I must say that I was moved to do it for Indica Dove Sei. I think this is a fantastic debut album from some very talented artists...fully deserving of Indie of the Year status. Constantly included in my Ipod playlists. Adam, Nate and the others can be very proud of the doubtless hard work that they've put in on this one. I can't wait to start seeing videos getting regular airtime (it's in the works). Way to go guys, very proud of you all.

I would encourage anyone to give this one a try. Even if it may not be your cup of tea, it is definitely worth your time to try it on for size.

While I have never been truly compelled to write about music, I have strong opinions about what I like and don't like. Vonrenzo's "Indica Dove Sei" has been in heavy rotation on my MP3 player since I first heard the band in April. The more I listen, the more I find to like about them.

This album is an outstanding emotional rollercoaster. The band is clever in its delivery of mocking great lyrics of lost love with mostly upbeat music. In the way that we all usually relate to music with hindsight, we can wear a casual smirk in sharing a bond with the members of Vonrenzo, who use the album as a mechanism to share some self-reflection with the world on how its approach to love is sometimes perfect, sometimes misunderstood, and other times flat-out wrong.

This album is without a doubt much different than the band's first (Intention and the Adequacy of Delusion), but it is equal in great lyrics and solid composition.

At times I sense that the album is rushed or incomplete, but many indie albums are like that. It certainly isn't a strike against them by any means, and would suggest giving an hour of your life to Vonrenzo. At the very least, lend your ears.
