This album albsolutely floored me. It was one of those instances where you just grab a random disc out of the pile, having never heard it before, and falling instantly in love with the unique quality of it. Emer Kenny comes to us from Ireland and not only does she have an etheral voice but her harp playing adds to the mix on the occasional song. It's bouncy pop but it keeps a world feel to it. To borrow a phrase used in the press kit, it's a gorgeous waking dream, the kind of soundtrack to your dozing state right when your alarm goes off. The production is thick and flawless providing layers upon layers of beautiful harmonies. It evokes the same type of image as Enya only Emer's deliver ends up more upon the pop path. Emer also has a vocal breathiness that brings images of angels whispering into your ears. A real treat.
